Johanna is my g-g-great grandmother, she married Hendrik Looman in 1833. She is the daughter of Steven Reijersen van’t Slot & Eibertje Driessen van de Pol married abt. 1805.
I am very interested in going as far back into her ancestry as possible, but to date I have found only that her grandparents are Reijer van’t Slot and Jannetje Jans. and the names of their 5 children.
I am not sure who Johanna’s siblings are or even when she herself passed away.

If anyone has any info or suggestions on obtaining
such, please let me know.
I see that Mr. B.Rugers Duinweg had done a chart. Is this chart obtainable?

Mijn engelse schrijftaal is niet zo best, dus doe ik het in het Nederlands. Bij toeval kwam ik op deze site terecht. Ben in 1943 geboren te Harderwijk. Mijn vader was Aalt van ‘t Slot, geboren in Ermelo.De namen van zijn broers zijn;Berend, Gerrit, Steven en 1 zus Cor, alleen Gerrit is nog in leven.Ons gezin bestaat uit 6 kinderen, Dik, Eib, ikzelf,Bep, Bennie en Thea, helaas is Dik overleden. Ik vind het fantastisch dat er een site bestaat over de van ‘t Slot families.Wie herkent mijn familie?? Ik woon zelf in ’s-Hertogenbosch, mijn broers en zussen, wonen nog steeds in Harderwijk en Ermelo.Het is prachtig te lezen, dat er over de hele wereld mensen met dezelfde achternaam als ik wonen.Ben benieuwd op de reacties van mijn verhaal, groeten, Ap van ‘t Slot

Hi everyone. No I’m not announcing a new family website But I thought some of you might like to see some photos I’ve posted on my “blog”. Mostly pictures of my property on Manitoulin Island in Northern Ontario, and the surrounding area. http://jvantslot.blogspot.com is the site.

Hi van ‘t Slots all over the world. I just want to tell you that I’m leaving Germany inApril 2006.
