Is it all in the family

Hello everybody,
I am also a Van ‘t Slot. I’ve always wondered where my familyname did come from.
Now I think I know….but I’m not sure yet. Are we related, and if so why did we never knew.
My fathers name was Wouter, and he was born in the town of Ermelo.
So ,please, can someone answer my question? That’s about all the information I have, accept for the fact that he had a sister named Drees.

If your father was born in Ermelo it’s 100% sure, your name has the originations as described at this website.
