could we be family?

I happended to stumble across a message by richard van ‘t slot while searching for sites with my last name related to them. As read on I crossed the part where richard said his father’s from ermelo. So is mine, and as you may have guessed my his last name (and mine) is van ‘t Slot too. Could this be? Could we be family? (kinda hoping to get a response soon:P)

Of course we are family! Van’t Slot is a very rare name and has it’s history closely tied with the Kasteel Staverden.
Whenever I think I’ve found all the van’t Slots more just keep coming out of the woodwork.

I’ve seen another Richard here..Nice combination indeed those names. To Jouke: I think we must be related, but I couldn’t react sooner because my internet has been out for a long while. Maybe we can meet up sometime and check ouot our heritage in Staverden…Perhaps with other members of our family in Holland? Greetings to all, and I’m glad to see our family is still growing.

natuurlijk zijn we familie, allemaal door Jannetje Jans en Steven Reyersen vanwege de herberg aan het Kasteel…………
Ik ben Willem van ‘t Slot, 1955, van vader Willem van ‘ t Slot uit Ermelo, ik ken de boerderij van Oma en Opa nog, met zo een (toen noprmaal) toilet, een gat in een plank, varkens en kippen overal en dikke boerensoep………. en moeder Maria Brom, heb inmiddels de van ‘t Slot traditie voortgezet, zoon Stephane (naar Steven), en dochter Aurelie (Breunie), een tikje Frans maar wij hebben 9 jaar in Luxemburg gewoond, leuk om dit allemaal te zien, tot snel.
