Have any of you searched the New Ellis Island Records web page. I found Grandpa’s information without too much trouble. He traveled with a lot of Russians! There is a ships passenger list and information on the ship.
Neat! I would have never thought there was such a site.
I put “van’t slot” in as the last name in my search with no first name and two records came back. One for Grandpa (Evert) and one for Albert.
