Merry Christmas!

This year, as always, I am spending the Christmas holiday with my family in Arlington, Texas. It’s a special time for us, as our branch of the Van’t Slot family is a bit spread out accross the United States. We don’t often get the opportunity to spend time together as a family.
This year is the first year that we celebrate the holiday with a new family member, Rachel (Malone) Van’t Slot. My brother Fred and Rachel married earlier this year. Christmas 2000 is that much more special with the new addition.
I hope you and your family will share a special time together this holiday season, and recall together what this day is all about.
