A Call for Stories
The Van’t Slot News website is looking
for your Van’t Slot related stories. If you have
any family stories, history or just want to share
who you are, where you live and what you do, send
it in! It’s easy and you can do it right through
the web.
We’ve been having visitors trickling in from
all over the world to the site. Since I’ve
recently listed the site on several web search
engines, the traffic is really starting to pick
up. This is a terrific opportunity for the
Van’t Slot family to share stories and get
to know one another.
It’s really easy to contribute. You don’t need
to know anything about web design or HTML(the
language of the web) or fancy graphics. Plain
text is fine. Just head on over to the
href=”/contrib.php”>contribute news section,
fill in the boxes, add your story and that’s it!

If you happen to have photographs that are in
electronic form, you can send them to me through
e-mail at

I can add them to a gallery or include them in a
story that you submit. I think most drug stores
these days have the capacity to create electronic
images from your snapshots or film. Any format is
acceptabe, I can transform them into the
appropriate format.
Submitting a story is fun and easy. So why not

My wife (ANN) and I live in Brooklin Ontario Canada. We have 2 sons, both married, 1 in Oshawa the other is going to live in Tottenham shortly.I am sure he will contact you himself. We have now also 4 grandchildren, (2) ea.
